Excursion to Pompei Sorrento and Positano To see the most important Roman ruins in Pompei and Erculaneum at the foot of the Vulcano. The famous eruption burying the towns in 79 AC. Excavations in 18 century brought to light a real city, with circus , temples ,roads, and domus with frescoed walls, sculptures ,gardens and fountains, also you can see authentic ancient graffiti on street walls.

Tour continues to Sorrento along the most enchanting and visited route ,the Costiera Amalfitana. Along the famous winding coast road to admire the mountain’s slopes with villages clambering up among flower’s garden ,vineyards , olive grove and lemon trees. In Sorrento you can visit the typical medieval section with narrows busy casbah like streets ,or you just can relax with a coffe or icecream sitting in the main square bar.

From Sorrento the road winds down to the islands of Syrens , Homer’s epic poem and to the unforgettable small natural cove of Positano, where you can stop for a walk down the village and admire the miracle of ancient architects that built houses, churches, squares in an such impossible location ,but they did it. Are you hungry well… can stop at "Trattoria da Costantino" up the hill of Monte Pertuso , where you enjoy a breathtaking view of Positano and a delicious lunch with typical home made ingredients and after a limoncello’s glass offered by Luigi , you can admire again the blue colour of the Mediterranean sea on the way back to the ship.
